The Exploring in the Woods eBook Collection uses a similar leaf motif throughout all the pieces and knit using fingering weight luxury blend yarns (MCN, 80/10/10, etc) for glossy knits with excellent drape. Typical wool sock yarn can be used for any of the included designs as well.

A half circular shawl worked with two contrasting colors in a fingering weight yarn from the top down. Once the main color is established the contrasting color is incorporated as 2-row stripes with wedges of garter to mimic the sweep of a weather radar. The shawl ends with a lace panel in the main color and edged with the contrasting color.
