To change the size of the hat, add or subtract groups of 10 to your cast on. The decrease rounds can be moved earlier or later in the pattern to accommodate your size change.

This pattern is written for an adult size, but adding or subtracting multiples of 10 to the cast on number will change the size of the hat easily.

The pattern uses three repeating colors in a bar pattern. This is a great hat to use up partial skeins that you have in your stash! If you want to use a different weight yarn, simply change the needle size and adjust the cast on number by adding or subtracting groups of 10.
