Confection is a fluffy, cozy hat with a big brim to keep your ears extra-warm. You’ll need just one skein of Spirit Trail Fiberworks’ new yarn Zaftig, size US 13 needles, a stitch marker, and a tapestry needle.

Nest is a big cozy cowl that widens gently as it goes, wrapping you up in soft merino from your neck all the way to your shoulders.It measures approximately 12 in/30.5 cm tall, 28 in/71 cm circumference at the top, and 35 in/89 cm circumference at the bottom. Your finished measurements may vary.

Boxwood uses just two stitches – knits and purls – and moves from ribbing to seed stitch to simple diamonds, and then to stockinette stitch for the shaping at the top. The instructions are written, and a chart for the Diamond Band is included.
