Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
Taraxacum is a triangular shawlette worked from the bottom up: you start from the tip and gradually increase to reach the desired width. To make this shawlette you have to be familiar with basic Tunisian crochet skills (Tunisian simple stitch, yarn overs, working multiple stitches together), and you must be able to work with a thin yarn and a r...

The Magic Dragon is my personal homage to Veronika Hug and her famous dragon’s tails scarves and shawls (particularly Drachenschal Mailand). I talked to Veronika about my idea of publishing my own version of the scarf as a tribute to hers, and she told me was very happy about it. As you’ll discover, this scarf is different from hers, and I hope...

“Foglioline” (young leaves in Italian) is an infinity scarf born from a cross-study between Tunisian crochet and knitting. The scarf’s motif was originally conceived for knitting, and it comes from Mary Thomas’ Mary Thomas’s Book of Knitting Patterns. I adapted it to Tunisian crochet, choosing to use Tunisian knit stitch as a tribute to the ori...
Crochet: Scarf
Is it a scarf? Is it a hood? Well, it’s twice as good: it’s a hooded scarf! This is one of the cosiest items you can wear to face cold Winter days, or windy Spring mornings. The stitch I chose, combined with a bulky yarn, creates a pretty dense fabric, which gives extra warmth without being too thick.

The classic ribbing in the pattern makes this neckwarmer an ideal everyday garment both for women and men. Choose a self-striping yarn and combine the vertical ribs of the stitch to the horizontal stripes of the yarn to make it look even more interesting.

“Gobelin” is a worked in the round, bottom up neckwarmer. The name comes from one of the old names of the stitch used for the main body, which is known as Tunisian full stitch, or gobelin stitch. It’s one of the stitches I love the most, and I can’t describe how fun it is to work it in the round: you have to try it yourself!

This is the Tunisian Crochet version of the knitting pattern by the same name originally published by Ravelry user Alpi Aplenrose, which can be found here. The first one to try and make it in TC was Brunella, who then asked me to make some adjustements to her idea. Well, this pattern is the result of our attempts. Alpi kindly allowed us to publ...
