Knitting: Cowl
This pattern came to be becasue I am a Star Wars Nerd and an English Nerd. As part of my teaching program, I had to create an ‘artefact’ that symbolized my teaching philosophy, where I started, where I am now, and where I am going. I’ve already turned in the reflection on the design and design process, and here is the published pattern.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
This design was created especially for my sister-in-law, who competes in synchronized figure skating. Pictured is the reach for a hand-to-hand hold, which I’m told is a basic move, together with some old-school compulsory figures.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
I wrote a pattern as I knit the design. Please let me know if you find any errors!

Knitting: Pants
This is a recipe for yarns from DK-Aran weight. Yardage requirements are determined by your gauge swatch, but my best guess is that you’ll need 6-10 ounces, depending on the size you’re planning to make.

Knitting: Cowl
Strictly speaking, this is just a CO technique. But keep knitting and it’s a moebius cowl, too.
Knitting: Cowl
The basic plan for this pattern: you can easily repair lost or gained stitches in pattern, so you’ll never need to frog. Plus any old yarn will do. What’s not to like?
Knitting: Soakers
I designed this skirty pattern for someone already familiar with knitting. Creating the skirt is easy with a little practice, and can be used to add a skirt to any soaker, shorty, or longie pattern.
