Crochet: Hats - Other
Whether made in a semi-solid for a chic look or in variegated yarn for optimum impact, this is a statement hat. The motifs are worked individually and then joined together. The crown is added and then the brim. You wind up with beautiful spiral stripes and fuzzy perfection.
Knitting: Shrug / Bolero
This shrug is knit in one piece and then seamed for the sleeves. The pattern includes a short row version to make the back a bit longer.
Knitting: Beanie, Toque
The Mountains are Calling Hat is worked from the bottom up. It is a fitted beanie style hat.
Knitting: Hats - Other
Briar Hat is knit from the bottom up with a fun “Knit on edging” type of band with bobbles. Using Merino / Yak sock weight yarn it is super soft and lightweight but warm.
Knitting: Cowl
This cowl is knit flat and seamed in the back to pull over your head for a quick but stylish look for everyday wear. The small size uses 2 skeins of Sport weight yarn and the large uses 3.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
ERRATA: In the Garter Lace Section (Decreases), Row 6 should read: K1, K2tog, K1, (yo, K2tog, K2) repeat to last 3 sts, yo, K2tog, K1.
Knitting: Cowl
This Pullover Shawl/Cowl combination was designed using our Studio Q Mini skein Advent set, 12 - 80 yard skeins. It is knit flat and seamed at the back and includes a few Brioche sections. You could substitute a ribbed section if you aren’t comfortable with Brioche. Enjoy!
Knitting: Poncho
This was our Puget Sound LYS Tour Pattern for 2019. It was designed using a local yarn called Earl Grey Fiber Co Oolong DK yarn but any DK weight can be substituted. It incorporates mosaic knitting if you choose to knit the two color version. We also knit it using one color. It takes approx 460 yards total, 230 of each color.
Knitting: Cape
This pattern was originally designed by Judith Quinton for the Puget Sound Local Yarn Shop Tour 2017. It is worked from the top down in the round with a knit on edging.
Knitting: Cowl
Kalmia Cowl is a one size fits all pattern. It is designed to wrap twice as a cowl or once and over your head for a hood. Made with Freia Worsted it works up fast. It is named for the Mountain Laurel Bloom and adds a bright spot to the winter months. Enjoy!

This is a lightweight, all season cowl designed using a locally hand dyed yarn. It is available at Quintessential Knits yarn shop. The gauge doesn’t matter as it is a One Size project. Striping colorwork and pattern texture make this a fun, fast project. Enjoy!

This pattern is for an advanced beginner that likes to try new things! It doesn’t really require a gauge and is a one size pattern. You can make it longer or wider to suit your personal taste. It’s a one skein project as written.
