Crochet: Baby Blanket
This afghan is easy to create for any skill level. Stitches used are dc and the cross-stitch and crab stitch (backwards single crochet for the border) as explained in the pattern. Pattern is worked back and forth in rows.
Knitting: Dress
Evelynn, named in honor of my great-niece, is a tunic style dress or long shirt, knitted in the round using 16” circular needles from the top down. You can easily make this for an older toddler or young girl ages 5-8 by using worsted weight yarn and larger needles.
Knitting: Pullover
This is a T-shaped sweater knit in one piece starting at the bottom front hem and ending at the back hem. Sleeves are made using a live cast on. There are two seams, each side and across the sleeves. It is a very quick knit, perfect for any skill level and takes minimal time.
Crochet: Afghan block
This is a 6” square. Instructions are written for a lighter worsted weight yarn however, notes are included for using a heavier worsted weight yarn. Quick little square using sc, hdc, and puff stitch.
