Knitting: Cuffs
Perfect for those chilly days where you’re starting to get more sun, but there’s still a nip in the early morning air. The color scheme is borrowed from the aromatic flag, which also forms a pun for the “arrow/aro” name.

Knitting: Slippers
I’ve experimented a lot with slipper patterns, and have found them to require a wide array of techniques and stitches. Slippers are a great gift, but it can be intimidating for beginners to learn how to turn projects, work heels, or work in the round while increasing or decreasing stitches. At the same time, flat patterns that get sewn up often...
Knitting: Cuffs
I’m a huge fan of The Magnus Archives, and have been wanting to create something inspired by the podcast for a while now. These wrist warmers picture a stylized eye in a repeating pattern worked in the round. The style is loosely modeled after a Turkish Evil Eye, though after completing the project I noticed how it was also quite reminiscent of...
Knitting: Headband
I call this project a ‘shire headband’ because everything about it screams ‘cozy’! The warm autumn colors that still contain hints of summer sky blue and lavender, the insanely warm and soft wool yarn that goes into it, and even the fact that the project is made using a mock cable stitch! The only thing cozier than cables is the cable look with...
Knitting: Boot Cuffs / Toppers
These boot toppers are knit in a two-colored fisherman’s ribbing, which gives a very similar appearance as a brioche stich, but a heck of a lot easier! On top of being easier (and with FAR fewer abbreviations), the fisherman’s ribbing is reversable, so depending on your outfit, you can choose which side you want to be forward.
Knitting: Containers
Using three complementary colors, this pattern creates a lovely transitional pattern for a planter cover…or a gift bag! Use larger or smaller needles to scale the pattern up or down.
Knitting: Pet Clothing
There’s something about small dogs that makes me want to see them in cute doggy sweaters! If I see a French Bulldog or Boston Terrier in a rainy Pacific Northwest winter, I want to make sure they are cozy (and if being cozy means they are wrapped up in a cute hand-knit sweater, so much the better!). This sweater has duel meanings-- it’s perfect...
Knitting: Pet Clothing
This whimsical cat sweater is the most fun cat sushi sweater I’ve designed. The shrimp tail takes a little maneuvering, but is very rewarding. The entire sweater is very lightweight.
Knitting: Pet Clothing
This basic form cat sweater is a nice foundation for any complex colorwork or modifications you may wish to add. This piece is knit as one continuous piece. It looks good, and is practical to keep cats from clawing or rubbing without being restrictive. This easy and quick project can be completed in an evening and can be scaled up or down depen...
Knitting: Pet Clothing
I’ve been enchanted with the sushi cat memes and designs I’ve been seeing all over the place. They are adorable! Seeing some sushi cat magnets got me thinking of creating a sweater for all the real cats out there that mimics the look. This cat sweater combines the look of sushi and sashimi, giving the look of a slice of tuna on a seaweed bed.
Knitting: Pet Clothing
My continued infatuation with the sushi cat memes and designs I’ve been seeing all over the internet has finally prompted me to make some cute sweaters for my own cat! After a little trial and error, I’ve put together instructions to help all the cat-loving knitters out there create their own sushi-inspired catwear! After all, why should dogs h...
