These designs are an extension of the Maple Grove Blanket I designed for my youngest daughter while I was heavily pregnant. My inspiration was a gorgeous set of gradient colourways (the Maple Vanilla colourway set) on Springvale Bulky yarn from Three Irish Girls.

A cropped cardigan or bolero for little girls. This has been designed to go over summer dresses and keep shoulders and chests warm, while still showing off the lovely skirts of the dresses. Please note that if you intend to use this over a long sleeve top you will need to upsize to get a bit more ease in the bolero.

The Maple Grove Blanket was designed for my youngest daughter while I was heavily pregnant in 2010. The name Maple Grove seemed appropriate given the yarn name and the fact that the blanket panels look like groves of trees.

This design has been separated into two patterns. The Blossom Bolero (baby & toddler sizes) pattern includes sizes 0-3m up to 18m. The Blossom Bolero (child sizes) includes sizes 2T-10yrs. This little summer dress was inspired by my lovely daughter Cadence. She needed a lightweight dress for summer which did not sit against her skin except in the chest area. The combination of a cross-over bodice, feature ribbon and fern lace skirt was the result.

I’ll add a men’s and children’s sizes soon too.

If custom sizing this pattern use the chest measurement plus 2cm ease to get a good fit.
