This pattern is a shawl turned into a vest by adding armholes to a rectangle. The shawl can be knit in a smaller size by reducing the number of squares. It is worked from side to side, beginning with the shorter edge.

This is a great pattern to use up leftover sockyarn. It is a fast knit and usually fits all sizes.

I could not resist knitting a sweater for our Chug Puppy when I saw him the first time. I imagined a fingerless glove with two thumbs. That’s about it and I started to knit. Very easy to knit and can be adjusted for any size.
