As a Fair Isle knitter I love working with many colours in each piece of knitting but during the first week of 2018 I felt like I needed to do something different to loosen me up and streach myself before the year got started.. So I made this easy cable knit for myself!

The curled cowl is extremely warm and easy to wear. The inspiration for these colours came from a photograph of the northern lights commonly seen in Shetland during the long winter nights.
