Knitting: Scarf
Wanted a simple stockinette cashmere little neck piece for my mother. She is always chilly but struggles to tie bows so went with a keyhole slot. I love the softness of Anzula Serenity and this is a yarn that wants to touch your skin. I like the softness of stockinette over garter stitch and added I-cord edging to help curl the rolling
Knitting: Cowl
This pattern uses assigned pooling in the BAAH Yarns Sequoia pooling series to enhance the pop of color in this yarn. This is a 1 skein pattern where the textured stitch is designed to use the entire “pop color”. A video link is provided for the textured stitch.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This is a simple little summer wrap to wear as an accent over a dress, tank or tee. Big needle knit in a herringbone stitch with one end of the rectangle seamed to the side of the other end. Pattern is easily modified to be either wider (cast on more stitches) or longer to accommodate a broader shoulder.
Knitting: Pet Clothing
As part of our Dapper Dog Charity Knittiing Project, our local shelter requested some little socks for the kittens and puppies to wear during surgery as their legs and feet get very cold under anesthesia. This pattern was donated by one of our knitters.
