Crochet: Wall Hanging
As shown, I used Aunt Lydia’s Classic 10 Crochet Thread, and a 1.5 mm hook. Instructions are given for attaching to a metal craft ring. You can stop at 6, 8, 10, 12, or 14 inches- you will need a craft ring of the size desired. You will also need scissors, and a tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

Knitting: Afghan block
This pattern will show some options for putting together the panels, edging, and charts for 5 filler panels. All the panels were done with Vanna’s Choice yarn and size 8 needles. The gauge is approximately 18 stitches x 24 rows = 4 inches square. As long as you are close to that, the panels should come out correctly, but finished size may diffe...

Crochet: Wall Hanging
The Buddhist 8 fold path: Right view. Right intention. Right speech. Right action. Right livelihood. Right effort. Right mindfulness. Right concentration.
Crochet: Doll
Gauge is unimportant for this project, you just need to make sure that your stitches are tight enough that the stuffing in the head doesn’t come through.
Crochet: Applique / Embellishment
This join-as-you-go motif can be used to create a number of things: table runners or cloths, scarfs, shawls, wraps, doilies, used alone as a coaster, trivets, blankets, …
Crochet: Applique / Embellishment
This can be worked with any type/weight of yarn. Made with Crochet thread #10 and a 1.5mm hook, the measurements came out to be 3 x 2.5 inches. Red Heart Super Saver and a G hook yielded a final measurement of 9 x 7 inches.
Crochet: Electronics Cozy
As written, the pattern is for a tablet measuring 4.5 x 7.25 inches, but there are notes on adjusting for size, as it is a 5 stitch repeat.
Crochet: Wall Hanging
I wanted to make a mandala that gave a nod toward Marinke Slump (aka Wink), who lost her battle with depression in June 2015. I didn’t know her, but her story touched me, as I have also fought depression most of my life- still do! I happily used one of her patterns to send in for the #MandalasForMarinke project by Kathryn Vercillo (http://www.c...
Crochet: Wall Hanging
Rather than working from the center out, as in a traditional mandala, this is worked from the outside in. Used as a tool for meditation, the process of working inward invites you to do some introspection. Look inside yourself, see your struggles and your strengths, find your path. The meditation can be as difficult as the actual crochet work. I...
Crochet: Cozy - Other
You never know when there will be an emergency. These little kits can be personalized to look like anything you can imagine! Instructions are given for the three above characters to get you started. They are made over a coffee can and little containers to hold emergency survival items. Keep one in the car, office, home, or anywhere you may need...

Crochet: Doily
Purple is the color for FMS awareness, and the butterfly was adopted as a symbol for Fibromyalgia Syndrome because people with FMS tend to have increased sensitivities to touch. Sometimes, the lightest touch, like that of a butterfly, can cause physical pain. Touch is not the only sensory sensitivity- FMS can also cause sensitivity to sound, ta...

Crochet: Doily
This mandala was originally designed as one of my contributions for the FMS Hope Mandala project that QueenBabs (Jane Balke Anderson) is doing in Sydney, AUS. She will be covering a tree with purple mandalas to raise awareness for Fibromyalgia Syndrome. She helped me pick a name to represent the journey the purple mandala will be making- from C...
Crochet: Applique / Embellishment
Mandalas have so many possible uses! You can sew them onto pillows, use them for trivets or coasters, hang them on a wall, use them in yarnbombs… They can also be very meditative to make.
Crochet: Billed Hat
Ridged spirals, a bit of a point on top, and an abrupt end, this hat is reminiscent of a seashell.
Crochet: Boot Cuffs / Toppers, Fingerless Gloves
This is the pattern for both the boot cuffs and matching fingerless gloves.
Crochet: Mid-calf Socks, Fingerless Gloves
Includes instructions for boot cuffs and matching fingerless gloves.
Crochet: Scarf

Crochet: Boot Cuffs / Toppers, Fingerless Gloves
This pattern includes instructions for boot cuffs and matching fingerless gloves.
Crochet: Hanging Ornament
Requires minimal amounts of 5 colors of yarn. Three should be varying shades of one color, another color for the heart, and another for the edging. It can be worked in any type of yarn, just make sure all five are the same weight. Use the hook appropriate for the yarn you choose.
Crochet: Belt
Although the directions are only for sizing to fit adults, you could use the same principal to make the belt for a child. Just reduce the number of inches added to the waist measurement and the number of flowers.
Crochet: Baby Blanket
Pattern is written in US crochet terms. Directions are given for changing the final size of the blanket. As directed, it would make a great toddler blanket, lap throw, or tummy-time floor blanket. With a little silicon caulking along the bottom, it would also make a great rug for a kid’s room!
Crochet: Toy Food
There is no specific gauge required. I used a G hook and the final candies were about 4 inches. Changing hook size and yarn will change the size of the candies. Just make sure the stitches are tight enough so the fiberfill doesn’t come out!
Crochet: Animal Toy
Have you ever noticed that all toddlers go through a phase of loving Band-Aids? Every little scratch or bruise needs to be covered by one.
Crochet: Applique / Embellishment
A fun pattern to make and add to anything you can think of! Would look great on a bag or end of a scarf.
Crochet: Applique / Embellishment
This crocheted Monarch Butterfly can be used as an embellishment on a bag, blanket, etc. It would even look pretty as wall art! You can turn it into a plush by making two and stitching them together.
