*** Notes
Crochet: Cowl
Cowl is worked flat, in one piece, then both ends are joined. Blocking is important for this item, to open the mesh stitches up more. Once blocked, the length will grow as well. If you are using a synthetic yarn, such as acrylic or a non stretchy yarn, you can work more rows to get the correct measurement.

Crochet: Afghan block
The Omatra Square was designed for The Friendship Blanket CAL, hosted by Sunflower Cottage Crochet.
Crochet: Boot Cuffs / Toppers
Boot Cuffs are worked in joined rounds. The heart pattern is cross stitched on with a needle. These are sized from child to Large adult, but if you need to adjust the size you can adjust the starting row by keeping a multiple of 7, in order to keep the heart pattern even.
Crochet: Christmas Stocking
This stocking is worked in the round, starting at the toe, moving a long to the body and then coming back to the heel. Chains at the beginning do not count as a stitch. Guage is not really important for this pattern. You can make this stocking bigger by using a heavier weight yarn and a bigger hook.
Crochet: Beanie, Toque
The band is worked flat and then seamed. And, then the body of the hat is worked in spirals around. It is easy to lose track of the start of the round with spirals, so I would use a stitch marker or a scrap piece of yarn to mark the first stitch of the round. This hat uses a super bulky weight yarn, and works up quickly.
Crochet: Bracelet
This pattern is worked flat as a strip and then seamed around the bangle. There are 2 widths of bangles: small (3/4 in.) and big (1 ½ in). The big size will be in parentheses. You can adjust these to match any size width by starting with a multiple of 2. You can also adjust the length by working the strip until it measures ½ an inch smaller than...
Crochet: Scarf
Any yarn can be substituted, but will affect the overall look and size of the scarf. The size can be adjusted by adding or subtracting rows. This scarf is made into an asymmetrical triangle by increasing on one side only.
Crochet: Beanie, Toque
Hat is worked from the top in the round. Chain at the beginning of round does not count as a stitch.
Crochet: Beanie, Toque
Hat is worked from the bottom band to the top, in the round. Each round you will join and turn. The beginning chain does not count as a stitch, other than the star rows where you start the stitch in the chain. The top of the hat is seamed when finished.
Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
This pattern is worked in rows and is basically half of a granny square. You can work fewer or more rows to change the finished size. I reccomend a fingering weight silk or a silk blend yarn for drape and to keep it light weight, but any yarn could be substituted, although it will alter the appearance depending on the weight of the yarn. I also...
Crochet: Cowl
Cowl is worked flat and them seamed together to join. Ch-3 at beginning of rows count as a stitch.
Knitting: Headband
This is worked flat. Before seaming, I recommend blocking. The headband can be altered to make it smaller or larger by working fewer or more rows, until you get the desired length The finished measurement should be 1 and half inches shorter than actual measurement of head to allow for stretching. You can also make it wider by ch as nging the sti...
Crochet: Throw
This pattern uses the Suzette Stitch, which is made up of sc,dc in each sc. You can make this blanket as small or as large as you want by making a smaller or larger chain and working fewer or more rows. If you want to change the chain length make sure you chain a multiple of 2 and add 1 more chain for your turning chain.
Crochet: Headband
Pattern Notes: This pattern is worked flat and consists of two strips that are seamed together.

Crochet: Scarf
Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
This is a smaller scale asymmetrical triangle shawl, which can also be worn as a triangle scarf.
