I like to paint with yarn and crochet, and this is my vision of twilight. I combined the thickness of two strands of yarn held together for the descending night sky with the lighter, more lacy look of one strand of pink to represent twilight. I hope you enjoy it!

Crochet: Table Runner
I wanted a vintage look for this table runner so I used Ecru with the pastels to achieve that. You can easily change the colors to match your decor. Crochet: Pillow / Cushion
I made this pillow for my granddaughter Sofia’s first birthday. I decided on the star shape because it’s easy for little hands to grasp, and it’s adorable! My pattern is a little different than most in that you don’t have to keep re-attaching the yarn to make the points - they’re crocheted right onto the body almost like a border. It’s mostly r...

Crochet: Dress
This gorgeous dress is so simple to make. It’s just four panels sewn together with a few rows of increases to create the flounce. It’s made with Lion Brand 24/7 cotton, but I think it’s more of a transitional piece for summer into fall because of the weight of the yarn. There’s a lot of cotton yarn here, guys, so it’s going to feel heavy, but t...

Crochet: Poncho
This poncho came about out of a desire to make something for my bonus granddaughter, Chelsea, who is thirteen. I made two baby blankets for her soon-to-be-born baby sister, and I wanted to incorporate the same colors in this poncho, but it had to be in a way that would be appealing to a teenager. This is a great companion piece to the blankets ...
Crochet: Baby Blanket
The Love You Forever Baby Blanket is named after a book I used to read to my son when he was small. It was our favorite, and it always made me cry! If you know the book, you’ll know what I mean. Crochet: Vest
This ended up being one of my favorite pieces, but it didn’t start out that way. I had a vision in mind, but until it all came together, I wasn’t sure how it would turn out. There are many steps along the where this vest is perfectly nice. You could stop before you add the hood, or before you add the pockets, or you could leave the button and t...
Crochet: Scarf
The Simba Scarf is the perfect accompaniment to the Simba Slouchy Hat. It’s made with bulky yarn, but it doesn’t feel bulky around your neck because I created a space for it to pass through itself. You don’t need to tie a giant knot to keep this scarf in place, and the pompoms just put it over the top! You’ll be warm and stylish no matter the w...

Crochet: Beanie, Toque
I love this hat! It’s warm, stretchy, and oh so comfortable. But I think the pom pom is my favorite part. I wasn’t sure how this yarn would look in a pom pom, so I was extremely pleased with the result. It’s floppy and lush, and reminds me of a lion’s mane. This is the perfect accessory for strolling down a city street on a frigid winter day or...
Crochet: Cape
The blanket yarn I found was so soft and yummy that I wasn’t satisfied with just making a blanket - I wanted something I could wear. And so this cape was born… and it is scrumptious!! It’s super simple, too, using only single crochet and double crochet stitches. I think even a beginner could handle it. Besides being strikingly unique, it’s incr...
Crochet: Vest
The Cocoa Casual Vest is the perfect extra layer of warmth for kicking through fallen leaves on a cool autumn day. Then it will easily transition to some girlfriend time at the coffee shop. The neutral color will go with just about anything, but then you have that little extra pop of style from the super-cool fringed belt!
Crochet: Scarf
Oh, these colors!! I just love them. I wanted to find the best way to highlight them together, and the single crochet stitch did the trick. This is a very simple scarf to make but it’s absolutely stunning once it’s complete. A really cool thing about this scarf is that the Yellowstone color is more prominent on the reverse side – so it’s like g...
Crochet: Cardigan
This beautiful sweater is created by artfully folding a giant square! It’s a great pattern for beginners and it crochets up super quick due to the chunky yarn. The pattern is one size but you can adjust it by simply making your square larger. As written, it’s 40” from top to bottom.

Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
This beautiful scalloped-edge shawl uses basic stitches and alternates increasing rows with non-increasing rows for the scallop effect. You will most likely have to block this - I did. So if your edges are curling, know that’s to be expected. I used an extra large hook to lighten it up and give it a slightly lacy look. One skein makes a shawl t...
Crochet: Throw
This yarn is so big, soft, and cushy that it makes the most comfy blanket ever! It’s called Baby Blanket yarn, but I wanted a more grown-up contemporary look so I kept it simple with the stitches and design. This blanket is totally beginner-friendly and you will end up with a gorgeous, soft, modern-looking accent for your home. The finished siz...
Crochet: Coaster
I’d say this is an advanced beginner pattern. As long as you can follow a pattern, you shouldn’t have a problem with it. I’ve made it in several different colors and it makes a great decoration for the fall season. I use cotton to make it useful as a coaster, but I also think it would be nice in acrylic or wool to scatter around simply as an ad...
Crochet: Vest
This colorful granny stripe crochet vest was a super fun pattern to create. I found the awesome cotton bamboo yarn from Lion Brand and just played with it! The color pattern developed as I went along. The tie around the neck and the tassels were a last minute addition just for fun. :) This is a pretty basic pattern as long as you’re comfortable...

When I found this yarn, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with it, but it was big and squishy, so I bought it anyway. Once I got home, I decided I needed a kitchen rug, and this yarn was perfect! This pattern worked up very quickly, and the finished rug is beautiful and so soft to walk on. Plus, it couldn’t be simpler. It’s a perfect pattern fo...
Crochet: Vest
This pattern is for a simple granny stripe vest. It’s one size but can be easily adjusted by increasing the size of the panels. I used three full skeins and part of a fourth of Caron Simply Soft in Grey Heather, but it would be equally lovely in any color.
Crochet: Shawl / Wrap
PLEASE NOTE!! THE EXACT YARN USED TO MAKE THIS SHAWL HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED. If you’d like a similar look, you will need to use a fine weight #2 cotton yarn.
Crochet: Poncho
This is an easy poncho pattern that’s great for beginners. It’s a perfect light cover-up for warmer weather. I think it would be awesome at the beach as a swimsuit cover-up. If needed, you can easily make it a little longer by making a longer beginning chain. Just be sure to make it an even number.
Crochet: Beanie, Toque
I wanted to make this hat a little lacy looking, and I was really happy with how it turned out. It’s obviously not meant for warmth but just as a pretty fashion accent for the warmer months. The pompom is optional – I just tied it on so it could be easily removed. If you’d like to add it, you can find tons of tutorials online. You’ll have enoug...
Crochet: Poncho
This is such a quick and easy project. It’s perfect as a cool and airy cover-up for warmer weather. If you’re like me, there are times you need a little extra coverage, but not necessarily the warmth that goes with it. Enter this poncho. I wore it on a very warm day and was still very comfortable. I designed it with lots of holes for that very ...

This lovely wrap can be worn wrapped around your waist or tied over your shoulders. The extra long ties make it easy to wear, and the little flounce at the bottom gives it some extra style - especially when worn as a skirt/wrap!
Crochet: Vest
The Boho Vest is incredibly versatile. It’s a great piece to throw on over just about anything summer or winter. It’s a very simple pattern that is made using granny stripes, and is constructed by making 2 front panels and one back panel which you then sew together. It’s a smaller size but can easily be adjusted. The finished vest has a back pa...
Crochet: Cardigan
This Granny Square Cardigan is one of my favorite pieces. The loose, unconstructed fit makes it so easy to wear. The beauty of it is that you can easily make it larger or smaller, trying it on as you go. The button is optional, but I think it adds a nice touch.
Crochet: Beanie, Toque
The Slouchy Beach Hat pattern is very basic. It uses simple stitches, but they alternate in a way that gives it a little extra design. The finished hat lying flat is about 10 inches from side to side and 9 inches from top to bottom.
Crochet: Vest
The Vintage Mod Vest started out as a plain vest, but with the addition of a fringed belt and the shell edging, I thought it took on a vintage vibe! The collar can be worn up or down, and the belt is optional. It’s super comfortable with the ultra-soft Lion Brand Jeans Yarn. This is one size which I would say is a medium - about size 6-8.
Crochet: Purse / Handbag
This is a small purse that’s lightweight and just big enough for the essentials. The yarn is Lion Brand Recycled Cotton which has been discontinued but any cotton yarn will work. I used cotton so it would be a little sturdy. But be aware that if you want it to have structure, you’ll need to line it with something. I didn’t line mine because whe...
