Knitting: Purse / Handbag
This bag is actually shaped with a jar inside it. I found it gave the purse a nice rounded shape and allowed the handles to be stretched while drying, minimizing stretch later.
Knitting: Fingerless Gloves
I designed these for my little cousin, and got so many comments on them that I spent a weekend knitting up a whole bunch for Christmas. Nice quick gift, and you can get two or three out of one ball of yarn.

The picture shows the hat in two shades of cupcake, but any yarn of gauge can be used. I will add this pattern as a PDF as soon as I am approved. The pattern is missing one line in the finishing, when you have finished seaming the top, use the tail to tack two opposite points of the hat down to the center, then place the pompom over the stitche...
Knitting: Baby Blanket
this blanket is knit with just the stripes and border, then the flowers are added with simple embroidery stitches. I wrote this pattern for a blanket for my neice, who is yet to be born.
Knitting: Purse / Handbag
The lining of this bag is very easy, it is a canvas tote bag from the craft store. This gives the bag strenth and helps give some structure to the ribbon yarn base.
