Take off your shoes and walk to the shoreline. The sand is hot and soft here, where the water tends not to go. The sun shines on your face and arms, warm and comforting. A cool breeze lifts your hair and rustles your shorts around your legs, bringing the scent of the sea. You take a deep breath, letting the salty air fill your lungs.
