Knitting: Cowl
Lael is a simple textured cowl worked in the round that looks great on either side. The stitch pattern creates a thick squishy fabric. Knit in a bulky weight yarn, it’s ready to wear in no time.

Cinch it up for a stylish hat, or loosen it up and scrunch it around your neck to keep warm and keep track of your hat! Magali features a lace pattern and is knit from the bottom up in worsted weight yarn. Adjust the size by adding repeats in the round (6 sts) or to the length (8 rows). Pattern is written and charted.

Sieraden is a slouchy, loose-fitting hat, knit from the bottom up. The simple stitch pattern mimics a slip stitch pattern which creates a spongy fabric and shows off variegated yarns beautifully when paired with a coordinating solid. The crown decreases create a star effect. Top the hat with a fun pompom or leave as is.
Knitting: Boot Cuffs / Toppers, Legwarmers
Keep your legs warm and looking stylish with these boot cuffs. Wear them over skinny jeans, tights, or just bare legs. Darby features a simple little cable, lace stitches, and little extra something from a Japanese stitch dictionary I like to call a “bud” stitch.

Mod Maude was inspired by a photo of a striped mug I saw on Pinterest, where the stripes were offset in the middle. To avoid working from two balls of yarn at once, and to make it more interesting while knitting garter stitch, one half of the shawl is worked from the top out, then the second piece is joined to the first as you knit. Short rows,...

Demalangeni is a triangular-crescent shaped shawl. It is worked from the bottom edge up. The lace border is worked along the full width of the shawl, and then short rows are used to fill in the body with a simple textured stitch that resembles mock cables.

Adelei is a shawl constructed from the top down. Unique increases are incorporated in several places through the stockinette body to create a fuller, more ruffled appearance when worn as a scarf. The “spine” increases are done to look like faggoting, so there is one YO on the right and wrong side at those points. Through the lace section, lace ...

Ashwyn is a name derived from the word Ashvin, a month on the Hindu calendar. Ashwyn is a slouchy beret which was created in conjunction with Malabrigo Stockpile Month, so the name seemed fitting. It was also inspired by the 198 Yds of Heaven shawlette by Christy Verity, and coordinates nicely with that scarf. Knit from the top down, Ashwyn fea...

Berruti was designed as a men’s beanie, but is great for the girls, too. It features a zig-zagging, lightning bolt rib pattern along one side of the hat that grows from the ribbed band, and decreases to a nice point at the crown. Simple knit and purl design is easy enough for a beginner, but interesting enough for experienced knitters. Includes...

I was inspired to create this hat in honor of Eleanor Dickson, and happy to say that the profits from the first 500 copies of the pattern went directly to the family. As of 7/1/10, Eleanor has no cancer remaining in her body, and the family’s medical bills for her continuing treatment are covered into next year! Update: As of 11/2015, Eleanor h...
