This is more a recipe than a pattern and I’ll be adding charts as I make them (and probably a fingering weight version that lets me get more words on there), but as an angry Minnesotan I wanted to get these up before the temperatures drop.

This pattern came from a late-night, exhausted conversation in a Tolkien fan group. One of the members said something about Legolas being admonished “you can’t just shoot people!” to which another member retorted, “it’s not shooting, it’s long distance stabbing.”
