This pattern is charted and has a photo tutorial.

I improvised this scarf 6 years ago and I have had people asking about the pattern I used for knitting it. I decided to make a pattern for it and while I was writing it down I thought it would be fun to make it more universal and include two versions of the scarf - a single yarn colour pattern and a multiple yarn (striped) pattern.

Art Deco Ring is a rectangular shawl calling for the solid colour lace yarn.

The pattern calls for a solid colour, any yarn of your choice - light lace, lace, heavy lace, light fingering.
