No.17 Silk Linen

This is a fine quality silk linen yarn.
It is made by twisting silk yarn called “pongee silk” and linen of European origin at a yarn manufacturer in Aichi prefecture.
Silk yarn is characterized by its rough texture and nepiness, while silk has a moisturizing feeling and softness.
Linen material has a natural luster and a bounciness unique to linen.
and a light, dry texture.
Linen yarns are a combination of these characteristics.
Linen yarns are not dyed (soaping and washing only), and the color remains the same as the flax color of the raw material.
Whether crochet, bar needle, or knitting machine, this yarn is ideal for summer wear.
It may be good for creating vintage or natural-looking pieces.
Also, the linen material becomes softer after many washes, so it may be a good idea to repeat washing and drying several times when making neck pieces. (It depends on how you wash it, but if you wash it too hard, it will become a little fluffy.)
The silk yarns are available in two types: one dyed in a kasuri pattern, and the other dyed in a solid pattern and twisted with linen to create a wooden pattern. (Five colors are available in total.)
