2d edition, January 2019 - sold out:

I am so pleased that we could repeat this yarn in a new batch! And this time it is available in nearly-black brown, as well as a similar cream as before.

Thank you Koby’s Kerstin, Kajsa, Kate, Lisen, Lyra, Lena, Lucia, Lill-Ida, Leia, Lill-Hanna, Laura and Lily for the white lambswool. And thank you Kamel and Kakan for the black lambswool.

Thank you Torsten, Houdini, Fidel, Alice, Viktoria, Birger, Botvid, Märy and Skrutten for the red-yellow angora wool - this is why I rarely have 1st class angora wool in my shop; I keep saving it for special yarn projects!

And, a thank you to those Swedish black angora bunnies who contributed to the dark Fiberfröjd this time. (sold out)

Happy knitting!

1st edition, February 2017:

This is a very special batch of yarn from local fibres that I have had spun, and I have only a couple of kilos. Available in my Etsy shop.

75% of the fibre is lambswool from finewool sheep of Glada Fåret in Enköping, Sweden. Thank you Jänta, Judy, Jo-Jo, Jenny, Jill, Jennie-Lee, Jo and Jolene for the wool!

25% of the fibre is from my red-yellow angora rabbits Vanja, Beata, Houdini, Torsten and Fidel, and from Valbo Rex och Angora in Gävle, Sweden.

It has been spun into a 2-ply yarn of 260 m per 100 g by Brink Hantverk in Vreta Kloster, Sweden. It has a warm cream colour, and will likely develop a mild halo from the angora when it is used in a garment. An especially soft and warm garment!

1st edition went out of stock in March 2018
