I make the Excalibur Yarn base in two weights: Worsted and Sport. The fibers are from my farm and also another local farm to me. I do all the skirting, washing, dye work. It is cottage milled and a metallic thread is spun in. Honestly, you can feel the plastic nature of the metallic thread, but no more so than in any other garment you could buy with sparkle in it. (In other words, we work really hard to minimize the feel of the sparkle). I see this yarn as very fun to work with!! No one’s closet is completely filled with sparkle, but is anyone’s closet complete without a little? - SMILE !!
