Parfait is a 3-ply worsted weight yarn spun from western range Rambouillet wool that is produced entirely on one family ranch. Each ply is a different shade of natural gray-brown—dark, medium, and light. The resulting barber-pole pattern knits up into a handsome speckled fabric with a flannelly soft hand.

Note: these skeins are UNWASHED, meaning that the wool is scoured before processing, but the skeins are not washed after spinning. The finished yarn retains some spinning oil and dust from the mill, but after a good soak in hot soapy water, it softens and blooms to its full loft. Swatches and final fabric should be washed before measuring for gauge or assessing garment size.
