This is a beautifully soft, silky and drapey yarn from a blend of 70% Bluefaced Leicester and 30% Suri Alpaca. It will make glorious shawls and drapey cardigans.

The Bluefaced Leicester comes from Craigallan and Wester Raddery on the Black Isle and the Suri Alpaca comes from the north of England. Spun at The Border Mill in the Scottish Borders.

Black Isle Yarns produces local, sustainable and natural yarns. We source wool from special local sheep flocks and create single farm yarns and unique blends.

Our yarns come in their beautiful natural undyed colours and in limited batches of glorious colours naturally dyed at home on the Black Isle.
