Our Zwartbles wool comes from Hedgefield Zwartbles near Beauly in the Scottish Highlands and our mohair comes from the Scottihs Borders. The wool is spun at The Border Mill in the Scottish Borders.

Black Isle Yarns produces local, sustainable and natural yarns. We source wool from special local sheep flocks and create single farm yarns and unique blends.

Our yarns come in their beautiful natural undyed colours and in limited batches of glorious colours naturally dyed at home on the Black Isle.
