This wool is 100% Perendale Lamb’s Wool from Te Toko Station in the North Island of New Zealand. It is 29 Micron - which is ideal for outer garments, cushions, blankets and afghans which need to be harder wearing. it will not provide the next to skin softness that merino wool does but it is still fine enough that it should not create “wool itch” if worn next to skin.

Our Perendale lambswool is available in a 50 gram ball and is 110m.

It has been woollen spun by the best woollen spinner in New Zealand - At Wool Yarns in Lower Hutt. The woollen spinning provides a yarn with a lot of loft to trap air for extra warmth.

The wool has been eco-friendly shrink resist treated - so you can be sure your special project is not going to decrease in size.
