We love our Jacob sheep and the beautiful fiber they grow. We shear our sheep once a year in March. Our shearer is very gentle and used to shearing Jacob sheep (those horns are a challenge). We sort their wool heavily to make sure we are putting the best fiber into our yarn. The mill mixes up the black and while wool into a beautiful heathery mix. The resulting yarn is soft, springy and warm, great for hats and outer sweaters. We love the results and we think you will too!

Each skein is a two ply worsted weight yarn, 240 yards and 4 oz. It was spun at Green Mountain Spinnery in Putney, VT, using only vegetable oils in the spinning process.
