I’ve always loved the film “the Wizard of Oz.” As a child, I found it to be a very intriguing, imaginative and fascinating movie, and I still do. The Ruby Slippers are one of the key characters of the movie and a real trademark. I find it magical that one can put the slippers on, click their heals and go anywhere they want. I wish it was like that in real life.

“Ruby Slippers” is 46 luxurious yards of wool, mohair, bamboo, tencel and soysilk. Weight is 2.6 ounces/74 ounces. Shades of ruby, scarlet and rose create an elegant palate. Additionally, several strands of red and deep rose sequins are spun in at different parts of the yarn, as well as seed beads and larger beads of all shades of red. This is a bulky weight yarn, good for knitting on size 11US needles and up. It would be a great compliment to the “Emerald City” yarn. Should you decide to buy both, I will charge you $80 for both, instead of $83.
