For a firm fabric (e.g. cushions) we recommend a tension of 10 sts x 10 rows = 10 x 10cm with 9mm needles in stst.

For a softer drape (e.g. for garments), we recommend a tension of 8 sts x 8 rows = 10 x 10cm with 13mm needles in stst.
