The natural colour of this yarn is a warm white.

58% Australian superwash merino, 42% silk
100gm/230m (252yd)
DK/8ply weight, single ply construction

With a silken glow shining through a soft halo, this yarn feels wonderful to wear next to the skin. The dyes appear almost metallic on this yarn. The slight slubbiness due to the single ply construction adds textural interest. Merino wool is well known for its warmth and elasticity, whilst the silk provides strength and shine. One skein of yarn is enough for a small to medium shawl/wrap or a hat. Care: Hand wash only.

Please note: the construction process of this yarn requires a knot or two in the skein, however they are easily spliced/felted to create an invisible join.
