This category includes hand painted rovings made from Finn wool. Most individual rovings weigh approximately 4.0 oz., or about 113 g.

Finn, also known as Finnish Landrace, is a hardy breed of sheep native to Finland. They thrive in rugged climates, and produce lambs early and often. The fleece is semilustrous and very open, with a variable crimp and a silky handle.

We sell both white Finn and Finn Humbug, which is a variegated blend of white and brown wool.

My rovings are dyed with fairly even distribution of colors. Photos are of each side of the coil, so you can see as much of the color as possible. These are the same rovings from which I spin my yarns, so I dye them for that.
