PLEASE NOTE: As of May 2017, I made a few small changes to this colorway, and all Yarnbow created going forward will be the new & improved version. I removed most of the neutrals as I felt there were way too many shades of gray and brown for a rainbow yarn, and replaced them with actual colors. I also redesigned the end of the skein so that if you knit it in a circle with the beginning and end connected, the colors flow well. Also, the DHF farm unfortunately no longer has their wool made into top, so I have switched from their Falkland wool over to a lovely certified organic Polwarth wool - also from the Falkland islands - that is very similar.

This skein stripes through 32 different hand-dyed colors that do not repeat. I spun it so that it will stripe through the rainbow (sort of) - it starts off with white and then goes through yellows, oranges, reds, brown, black, greens, blues, purples, and mauve.

The wool I used in this yarn came from the DHF farm in the falkland islands. They don’t use any herbicides, pesticides, dips, footbaths or regular injections on their sheep, and no bleach or other chemicals in the processing of the wool - so it is, according to them, some of the purest, cleanest wool you will find on the planet. It is also very soft and lofty, as their sheep are a merino crossbreed.

This yarn is about a bulky weight, so I’d recommend around US 10+ knitting needles.
