A beautiful and unusual silk and mohair yarn, Faery Wings is a combination of a single ply of shiny silk wrapped with a strand of fluffy mohair and nylon to create a yarn with a wonderful handle and luxurious drape.
This blend of fibres makes the yarn take the semi solid and variegated hand dyed shades with a unique depth and intensity.
Available in 13 shades from semi solid to variegated.
Despite the textured appearance of Faery Wings in the hank, the yarn knits up into a smooth and even fabric with luxurious drape and a soft halo, as shown in the swatch on the right.
Recommended needle size: 3.5mm
