Kid Seta is a luxurious silk and mohair lace weight blend. The mohair is spun specifically for Gepard, to ensure uniformity and softness. This gives the yarn a unique softness and ensures minimal pilling. Combined with 30% silk, this provides the yarn with a beautiful luster and smoothness, while remaining elastic and light. This makes Kid Seta comfortable to wear all year round.

Kid Seta is known for its softness and ability to stay light and airy - especially after being washed and worn. Once the mohair fibres have been washed, they fluff up and bloom, giving the yarn its highly sought after soft halo effect, characteristic of silk mohair blends.

Kid Seta was a wide colour range, allowing you to easily match it with a variety of yarns. The colour palette is designed with Gepard’s favourite qualities in mind, and pairs beautifully with Pura Lana, Woolia, Puno, Wild & Soft and My Wool.

As a companion yarn Kid Seta provides a soft halo, giving depth, volume and harmoniously blending the colours together. Adding a strand of Kid Seta evens out the colours and feel of the finished fabric, and makes it extra soft.
Knitted on its own, Kid Seta is ideal for light weight garments such as shawls, scarfs and light blouses, allowing the airy and elegant quality of the yarn to shine.
