Wild & Soft is an exclusive and unique blend of soft merino wool and wild silk. The result is a yarn with body, elasticity and a lively, luminous surface. Unlike classic mulberry silk, wild silk has a slightly more natural texture, adding character and helping the knitted fabric retain its shape. Combined with merino wool, it creates a soft, light and airy yarn that is comfortable against the skin and suitable throughout the year.

Wild & Soft is available in both solid and softly tweeded shades. The tweed effect is created by dyeing on a grey melange base, producing a depth and richness reminiscent of handspun and hand-dyed yarns. This effect is achieved by carefully carding wool and silk, blending them only partially allowing the fibres to retain their individual character and subtle sheen.

The yarn has an even thickness but retains the gentle variation that gives the finished fabric depth and life.
Occasionally, you may encounter a slightly larger silk section or a small silk nub. This is not a flaw but a natural result of preserving the character of the wild silk fibres.

Wild & Soft is beautiful on its own but also pairs wonderfully with companion yarns. Combined with Kid Seta, it gains an airy halo and extra lightness. With Cashmere Lace, it becomes exceptionally soft while retaining its unique character.
Despite containing 40% silk, the yarn remains elastic and holds its shape beautifully. The finished fabric drapes elegantly while maintaining a balanced and harmonious stitch definition.
