Our Trail Merino comes from Theos Swallow Fork Ranch, a five generations-deep ranch rich with visionary caretakers. They care for each other, the land, their herders, and especially their sheep, all with an eye to the future. Twice each year they trail the sheep from winter pasture on the Utah/Colorado state line, all the way into the high country and then back again. The family and their herders ride horseback for two weeks to safely move their beloved sheep to greener pastures.

Caretaker Trail is a celebration of that journey. This cozy, unpretentious Merino yarn is reminiscent of hand-spun. The next-to-skin softness makes it perfect for hats, cowls, shawls, and sweaters.
