From the Jorstad Creek Website:

Narfi is 100% Icelandic lambswool. This yarn is spun with both the “Tog” and the “Pel”, the under coat and the outer coat. The fleece is from lambs at one-year of age or younger, so the wool is very fine and softer than other Icelandic wools from adult sheep. Narfi is 100% Icelandic lambswool.

Hand dyed colors are vivid, with a heathery hue from the natural grey of the undyed fiber.
