This wool is made from 100% American-grown wool, shorn by internationally renowned shearer Emily Chamelin.

Part of the profits from The Shephered and The Shearer project go towards providing scholarships for women to learn the skill of shearing.

There are two patterns intended to go along with this yarn - The Shepherd by Kate Davies, and The Shearer by Kirsten Kapur.

The only way to purchase this yarn is through the Juniper Moon Farm shop as a part of a kit.
