Designed and developed exclusively for KDD Buachaille is a 100% wool yarn with bags of Scottish character. Created from a top-quality blend of carefully sorted Shetland and Cheviot fleeces, Buachaille is a 2-ply, worsted spun yarn, with a light, smooth hand, good stitch definition, and an attractive “halo”. It is a robust and highly versatile “woolly-wool”, and suits a wide range of projects from socks to sweaters.

Buachaille is no longer in production. The dyed shades may be substituted with Schiehallion, and the natural shades with Ooskit.
