Kindred Red Alpaca Haze is a brushed alpaca yarn with a nylon core for strength. This is the closest you’ll get to knitting a cloud made of dreamy colors.

Though it is sport weight, Alpaca Haze really sings when used in projects with larger needles, creating an airy garment whose open stitches are filled with an alpaca halo. Try holding it double with another yarn to add subtle texture, too!

Alpaca does not contain lanolin, and because of that, is considered hypoallergenic—perfect to use on projects in place of mohair for those with allergies.

SPECIAL NOTES
This yarn is not superwash and can felt when wet due to the brushed fibers. When blocking or washing, take care to prevent the alpaca from felting.

Wind slowly and GENTLY. The brushed fibers love to stick to each other, and will snap if you wind too quickly.
