“This yarn is 100% authentically British. Its made using wool from sheep on the British mainland and spun in the UK so has a low carbon footprint. It has a standard construction of 4/16nm with 400m (437 yds) per 100g. Made with 75% Superwashed British wool and 25% Nylon, the wool fibres have been specially treated before being spun to enable it to be machine washable, therefore will not ‘felt’ when washed. The wool is combined with a smaller percentage of nylon giving the knitted fabric extra durability and strength making it a hard wearing Hand Dyed Yarn.”
