“Zébas” is a play on words between French and English
“Zé” is for the sound French people sometimes make when they say “the”, and “Bas” is the French word for socks.

Originally all white with some black yarn included to give a barber pole effect, it is dyed with different shades of color.

Aside from making striking socks, this yarn would be ideal to use as a complementary color for colorwork , if paired with a neutral tone such as grey, cream or even with black for a rather dramatic effect.
