Great sheen on the silk yarn - the camera cannot catch it in all its glory! Wonderful soft but yet great to knit with because the thread is twisted, not tight but it makes the silk easier to handle. It is as well lovely to wear on your bare skin because of its incredible softness as perfect for hot weather because of the cooling silkeffect! The yarn has a great drape when knitted into a shawl.

Be aware though, that when knitted into a cardigan or sweater, it might grow bigger by wearing because the yarn is rather heavy and silk does not have a memory, so it straightens out while hanging down!

Since the yardage is short you can easily combine 2, 3 or 4 colors without having leftovers for a multicolored shawl!
