Merino-cross wool selected for us from a single source sheep station in the Maniototo region of Central Otago, New Zealand. The sheep are bred to produce non-prickly wool in the 22-24 micron range. It is beautifully soft and lightweight, yet robust and strong, woollen spun to our special requirements for knitting beautiful lightweight and warm garments. Lovely for cables due to the four-fold construction.
