After Minerva’s merge with Columbia in the early 1950s, renamed Olympic-Monterey under the Columbia-Minerva label, still in 1 oz. skeins, and 100% wool. Shortly thereafter, the fiber content changed to 96% wool, 4% nylon. (circa, late 1950s-early 1960s, exact year unknown.)
