100% pure Romanian wool

It is the result of mixing wool from two sheep breeds, both adult sheep and young lambs. The wool from the adult sheep was natural white while the lambs had beautiful brown and black patches. By mixing them together we obtain beautiful shades of light grey with brown pixels here and there.

This yarn is particularly suited to make durable garments such as bags or slippers.Because we used no chemicals while processing the wool, it is well suited for making things for the children’s room.

Our yarns retained some of wool’s protective layer of lanolin. Lanolin is the wool wax that help sheep to shed water from their coats. As a result, our yarns are especially suited for making garments that need to keep moisture at bay.

We recommend using knitting needles EU no 4.

Length: 100 gr is around 250 m.

Gauge obtained with size 4 knitting needles is 18 stitches and 25 rows for 10 cm.

Gauge obtained with size 4 crochet hook is 18 stitches and 22 rows for 10 cm.

Hand wash and dry flat.
