My knitted closet - The silk mohair, is a beautiful, soft and shiny yarn with a light and fluffy structure.

We use it primarily together with other yarns, as our The cotton merino, but it is also beautiful used individually, with two or even 3 strands of this yarn.

Some shedding must be expected both while knitting and from the finished project. The shedding will deteriorate in time but please consider with which garments Silk Mohair is worn.

You deserve to know:

  1. We are a Spanish brand.
  2. Super kid mohair comes from South Africa: super kid mohair is the thinnest and most delicate fiber, silky and luxurious of all mohair.
  3. Schappe silk comes from China. Schappe silks are spun from the longer leftover silk yarns, making smooth fabrics with lovely, subtle sheen, which is less glossy than classic silk.
  4. This yarn is spun and dyed in Italy.

Care information:

  1. Hand wash cold or 30ºC max. Do not soak it. Use always detergent for wool or silk.
  2. After rinsing the garment, allow the water to drain. Put it on a towel and squeeze out some more water.
  3. Dry flat. When your knitted garment is dry, shake it a little.
  4. It becomes even more fluffy when you use the garment.
