Samfingið inniheldur 100% føroyska ull. Tógvið er framleitt vegna eftirspurning um eldra slagið av tógvi, ið hevur verið vælumtókt í Føroyum til tess at binda skipstroyggjur. Føroyska heitið, “Samfingið,” merkir, at tógvið inniheldur bæði broddaull og nappull. Hetta er eitt sermerkt grovt tógv, ið er serliga vælegnað til troyggjur og jakkar.

Hvørt 100g. noða inniheldur uml. 180 metrar av tógvi. 100 % ull.

Bindispenni: 14 eygu = 10 sm. á 7-9 mm. nálum.

TRADITION YARN

Tradition consists of 100% Faroese wool. The yarn has been produced to meet a demand for old-style yarns that have been popular in the Faroe Islands for knitting ‘skipstroyggjur’ or boatman’s jerseys. In Faroese, the yarn is called “Samfingið” meaning ‘unsorted,’ i.e. the coarser fibres are not plucked out. This results in a characterful rustic yarn that is especially suitable for rugged jumpers and jackets.

Navia Tradition is an Aran-weight yarn, suitable for jumpers and jackets.

Each 100g. ball contains approx. 180 metres of yarn. 100 % Wool.

Tension: 14 stitches = 10 cm. on 7-9 mm. needles.

NOTE: Prior to 2018 Navia Tradition contained 20% English lambswool blended with Faroese wool.
