The second in The Yarnery’s Northern Farms Project series, Pepin is created entirely within the upper Mississippi river valley region. The fleece comes from Hickory Hills Farm, Nelson, Wisconsin; the yarn was spun and dyed by Ewetopia Fiber Mill, LaFarge, Wisconsin.

This 2-ply yarn is minimally processed and spun (you’ll find some thin/thick portions, and they balance out just fine in your knitting). The yarn feels supple and particularly soft for a rustic wool.
